Welcome to Volume 2 of TBD’s Weekly Marketing Pulse : your shortcut to what matters in marketing this week. From TikTok and Meta doubling down on AI-generated campaigns, to EY muscling into the marketing transformation game, the industry is evolving fast and smart marketers are evolving faster. We’ve curated the latest moves, must-reads, and one sharp POV to help you stay ahead of the curve (and your competitors).

Trending Now

1. TikTok’s AI Tools Redefine Targeting and Creative Strategy

TikTok just rolled out a suite of AI-driven tools at its global advertiser summit, including “Insight Spotlight,” which helps brands uncover rising topics, trending keywords, and relevant user segments in real time. They’ve also updated their Creator Content Hub, now rebranded as the “TikTok Creator Content Suite,” making it easier for advertisers to license UGC and collaborate with creators at scale.

Why it matters: TikTok is evolving from a discovery engine to a full-funnel ad ecosystem. With AI supercharging both creative production and targeting, even small teams can now deploy high-performing, trend-native campaigns faster than ever.

2. Meta’s Vision: Fully AI-Generated Campaigns by 2026

Meta (Facebook/Instagram’s parent company) revealed its roadmap to make end-to-end ad campaign creation fully autonomous using AI. Think: copy, visuals, targeting, and placement — all generated and optimized by Meta’s internal models. This could shrink timelines and reduce reliance on traditional creative production or media planning.

Why it matters: While this raises questions about originality and creative control, it also opens doors for lean brands to compete with enterprise budgets. It also signals a future where creative and performance silos collapse entirely — with AI acting as the bridge.

3. EY Enters the Marketing Services Race with Studio+

Ernst & Young (EY) launched Studio+, a global division combining capabilities across design, tech, data, and customer experience into a single marketing transformation offering. With over 7,000 professionals on deck, EY is positioning itself as a serious competitor to Accenture Song, Deloitte Digital, and even traditional holding company agencies.

Why it matters: CMOs are increasingly turning to consulting firms for growth strategy and martech implementation alongside creative solutions. Studio+ reflects the growing demand for outcome-driven, tech-enabled marketing services, especially in industries undergoing digital transformation.
